Hello hope all is well I wanted to talk today about how to get your post noticed first in the facebook newsfeeds. So when people log into facebook your post is one of the first they see there when they first log in.
Now why is this important?
Well if your using facebook for socializing your probably not going to care. But if your trying to get attention to your like page and gain valuable contacts I think this will be of some use to you.
We all know that if your trying to get noticed on facebook you have to be implementing good strategies to do so.
With more and more business’s and marketers coming to facebook to find targeted followers and customers we have a lot competition to deal with.
So one thing we can do is make sure that our content or post are frequently seen to keep us and our brands fresh in people’s minds.
How do we do this?
Well we structure our post according to what is most liked now in facebook we use the type of content that is most popular in our post and this will give us a better chance.
So just what is the most popular content?
Glad you asked here are the top 4 you should be using in your post in the order they are ranked. Ready for #1 drum roll please…….
1. Photos: Good photos, interesting photos, funny photos we are very visually oriented so give us something the eye can drink in. If you can find something interesting and very related to niche so much the better.
2. Videos: Again we see the trend of the visual and videos are all about that. So find some good videos and post those but the most popular seem to be ones we upload directly to facebook not something we find on Youtube. Have an idea or an epiphany or whatever you want to share. Then do so just make sure you are contributing value.
3. Links: Ok not links to an affiliate offer or squeeze page mind you. Now these are ok every now and then but links to some cool article or some kind of good informational site will rank well with facebook so remember add value first. Now links to squeeze pages and stuff I very rarely do and I would suggest the same to you.
4. Text Updates: Use that phone man. I can only guess this is so popular because people are curious about your post if you take the time to do it from your phone. But you can’t argue with results so put it to use it can’t hurt (You might want up the data plan on your phone).
Well this was a short but sweet list but I think if you use them accordingly you will see your post showing up in the Top News and Most Recent columns near the top.
Some more internet marketing advice would be to do most of these post from your like page and get more attention to you and your brand at the same time.

I really enjoyed these quick tips. It helps business owners and marketing managers when you can give them the information they need in just a few bullets. Theuns not sure about social oomph and facebook. Try tweetdeck or hootesuite not only can you load your personal profiles but your like pages as well. Hope that helps.

Lali yes when I saw this I started paying attention and sure enough when I log in I see a lot of blackberry post near the top. I use an android and don’t think it matters. I think they give the good ranking to phone post because that is devotion man to send updates to facebook from a phone that is the least they could do.
