An MLM Blog Must Convert Or Die!!

Well it’s been quite a journey hasn’t it getting to your mlm blog.

I mean you have decided to start an internet mlm business right like we discussed in an earlier post?

Next we went over some mlm tips to get you operating effectively in social media and getting traffic.

Now in this post I’m not going to show you how to set an mlm blog. I have a post for that and some resources that will help you in that regards.

No in this post we will be going over how to convert the traffic you have accumulated from visitors, leads into paying satisified customers.

It’s totally possible to be making money from visitors before you ever speak to them if ever about your primary opportunity.

We’ll cover a couple of tactics to make your blog more profitable and in turn help fund your internet mlm business. The first top secret, ninja blogging, I will have to kill ya if ya ask tactic is……..

Ask..

That’s right yep. Ask. That was a big let down wasn’t it. Or like most people put it a Call To Action. Call it what you want to, call it “aggressive asking” for all I care but its effective.

But that’s what it is and people respond to it they do just ask them ha!(just don’t be to aggressive). What I’m saying is if you would like a comment ask for one. You want people to “click” somewhere ask them to do it. You want a digg or a retweet ask for it.

I think people are truly astonished somehow when people are bold enough to ask for something it sets off some kind of biological trigger that makes them want to. But whatever the cause remember action breeds action.

People see you getting comments and responses on your mlm blog before long they are curious about you.

When they get curious they want to know more about you and what you are using to be so effective. Then from there it is repeated “calls to action” that make for conversions.

So what’s next?

Placement..

I think when we understand human psychology better we will better understand how important this is.

We live in an impatient and instantified society. People want their information and want it now. Some people might not even read your whole post..so where do put the links? Above the fold is gold.

This is the section of your website or mlm blog that people first see without having to scroll down. So make your links count put the ones for your landing pages in that area first then pepper your back linking further down your post.

These are just a few of many strategies to employ to get your blog generating cash so it at least funds itself and not be another financial concern for you.

Because I have the feeling when it becomes a financial drain it’s going to whither and die.

I would love to hear some comments from my blogging buddies or anyone else for more strategies or mlm tips to make this process more profitable.

Also please click on the facebook and retweet buttons at the top of the page or the bookmark and share at the bottom of the page if this has been useful to you.

Thanks for reading and until next time…

  3. Dwayne so true. You know I read somewhere that 95% of people are waiting for someone to tell them what to do. Imagine how those odds improve if you lead with value like you do then ask or “tell” someone to move to action. Great point and thanks for the visit.

  4. Hey Steve

ASKING is so essential. If you don’t, people won’t!

I ask all the time and it works wonders for me.

Another good one to add is similar to asking is telling.

TELL them to click. For example. “Here is the best free report I have ever read. Click the link now to get it for yourself. It’s a no brainer really”. This works. It really does.

  5. Here are my two cents, Steve.

Statistically, 85% of website visitors will never even scroll down to see your site.

Yet I see bloggers fail to use their prime above-fold “blog estate” to give their readers a benefit to stay.

One way to do it is to tell your readers what you are all about and why they should stay in your header, like you did, Steve.

It’s one thing to use your name as your blog domain, but you should always state why it matters to other people and not leave it at “I am such and such and welcome to my blog”.

All the best to yours, Steve.

First I would have to say you are a woman after my own heart. I love stats like these! Because if we are paying attention to trends and behaviors we can adjust our strategies and actions to match so thanks for sharing. 6. Hello Steve, great post again!

You’re so right about telling people exactly what we want (call them to action) and great tips about asking – I’ve done a survey, got results and e-mails from people who wrote exactly whats their problem – asking is the key!

    Keep it up,
    Milena

    • Thank you Milena I appreciate it. It’s all in the asking and how effective we are. I think there is somewhat of an art to it you can’t be to aggressive but at the same time you can’t be timid. Once it’s mastered your success will be massive. Thanks for the comment and have a great day.

    • Yes Charlie it’s about that simple of course we have to lead with value first then we are in a better position to ask but yes point blank it’s being a master asker that gets results.

  7. Hey Steve,

I like how you referenced the psychology of the mind. Because if you don’t have it right there, then everywhere else is just not going to work out.

So definitely ASK for what it is you want.

Thanks for sharing this with us.

  8. Thank you Marcus I agree effective and something of real value. That's why I think bloggers really aught to take pride in their content and offers. Our belief in them comes across to others and we can help them along as they “Seek and thou shall find”.

  9. Good point Oliver if it makes sense that is where taking pride in our content and making sure we have done our research on the products and goods we offer. We stake our reputations on it.

  10. Jiri I totally agree we have to offer value and pay our dues to get visits but there needs to be a selling point that gets people past their hesitation. This all comes from offering true value I believe.

  11. Great post Steve. I think having an effective offer to move people from your blog to your list is what I believe is very important. When people are on your list then you have an additional way to develop the relationship.

I like your point about asking. Very true. 'Ask and ye shall receive' – is advice well worth remembering.
