Hi Steve, I agree that goal setting is really important. I appreciate that you gave us some resources to check out to help with the process. I think about my goals every day. I have big ones and little ones. When I accomplish a little one, I get very excited. I find that nothing fuels me like this – so I set a lot of little goals. I can see the progress and it spurs me on. I keep the big ones in mind – the little ones are steps that’ll lead there. Thinking about my goals and my dreams makes me happy, fills me with a hope and a positive attitude that I know helps me when I’m interacting with others or facing a challenge. – Rob

David Caban’s contribution (link) was practical enough – working from the Brian Tracy steps he added a little from other resources he likes like Zig Ziglar. Personally, I found that a Mind-Map can be helpful in both the one year plan and then using it to think through the daily implications.

Steve, your locating these resources is amazing…

I agree, from the old school way of pencile and paper is the best. I will remain using them. It just feel great and follows me around. Pick-up the pad first thing in the morning. Last thing at night.

The support of setting goals is not to be taken lightly. Most of us have at one time just wrote down a plan with our goals and set milestones. Just left it at that. Not thinking of it as just a blueprint and rough copy. You will be making adjustments along the way. It is not written in stone. Don’t feel like that. Most people do.

Steve, right on point as only to be expected. I can’t wait to work with you in the near future. Your a visionary and resourceful man. Looking good this blog of yours.

Thanks for sharing.

Great list of resources Steve … speaking for myself, I believe two factors that ensure a far greater chance of achieving the goals I set for myself is 1) writing them down and 2) setting clear priorities. Thanks for the inspiration!

Marguita I agree you have to right them down and think about them all the time. I think this keeps your faith activated and opens doors and attracts the right people to you that are in line with your goals. Great advice.
