Hello in my last post I discussed some tips on how to get conversions on your mlm blog.
This post I want to talk about encouraging interaction on your blog for good business reasons and quite frankly it’s just good etiquette.
Notice the title doesn’t say comment on other people’s mlm blogs (which is mighty beneficial as well) but your own.
What is the importance of this you ask? Well let’s outline a of few of the reasons then discuss them in further detail.
Ok shall we? First and foremost….
1. It Motivates Others To Do The Same.
People don’t want to leave a comment just for the sake of leaving it. By simply replying your letting people know you appreciate their input and that will encourage them come back and reply again.
Also people who might not otherwise comment may if they know their comments will be read and responded to.
2. It Adds More Flavor To The Post.
A reply can lead to a whole new train of thought on the subject or better yet your points will be further explained and made more clear through yours and others comments.
But it’s your mlm blog you have to take the initiative to respond in a way that encourages others to join in and actively participate.
3. How About Social Proof?
By commenting you can take advantage of this phenomenon.
What is the power of social proof? It is that peoples decisions are influenced when they feel someone knows more about a situation or topic than they do.
So this is the time to establish yourself as the authority and comment intelligently and consistently and people will take notice.
Your internet mlm business could see a big boost in sales and sign ups through your shared insights and advice.
4. The SEO Factor.
Commenting does help your SEO but honestly in a small way.
By commenting you and others may repeat the keywords you used in the post and help you get found in the search engines for those terms.
Also new related terms could be mentioned and you may find yourself being looked up for those as well.
And here is another tidbit your comments are added to the overall comment count right?
So if you reply to 10 comments that brings your total to 20 which number looks more impressive??
Well how do you feel about commenting on an mlm blog?
Have you every left a comment on a blog before?
It’s rather easy just scroll down to the bottom of the page enter some simple information then type your comment in the comment box and submit.
That’s all but if that’s not your cup of tea click on any of the facebook or tweetme buttons or on my little bookmark and share button at the bottom.
But if nothing else I want thank you for visiting my mlm blog and have a great 4th!!
Until next time..

I would answer just to genuine comments, not to spammers.
Hi Steve,
I have to agree that, at the very least, replying to people that make legitimate comments on your blog builds trust and rapport. I have also been fortunate to have many of the people who commented also join me in my company – it was almost like a ‘test’ to see if there was a real person behind the blog…and if I answered in an appropriate way I would get their patronage.
Cheers,
Haydn
Very powerful Haydn and thanks for sharing. Multiple benefits are reaped by managing our comments correctly I have made some great friendships as well. Thanks for the visit!
Steve
Using minimum resources and investing minimum money can anyone start internet marketing for achieving business popularity on the internet.
This is true and commenting back to people who reply on your blog costs you very little and can mean a whole lot more. Thanks for stopping by.
Steve
Hi there may I use some of the insight from this entry if I link back to you?
Certainly that would be fine and thanks for asking.
Steve
Hi Steve,
Great article! You know, there are people out there that have no clue about this. I was one of them. I didn’t know I was supposed to reply back when someone commented on my blog. It wasn’t that I was being rude. Just didn’t know. So it’s a great thing that you brought that up. Once I replied back to my commentators a whole new world opened up for my.
Thanks for sharing this and have a great day!

Ilka I think most of the time we have the best intentions but sometimes these aren’t good enough. I think it will really affect our social impact in the near future by how and how much we interact in social medias. Let’s face it the world is going digital and these types of interactions are becoming all to frequent and important to ignore it’s best we get ahead of the game. Thank you for the visit and your insight on this.

Very good points, Steve.
I would also like to expand just a bit on the last SEO one.
Since each comment creates it’s own page, it does diddly for SEO purposes.

Hey Steve,
Social proof in the form of comments on one’s blog is vital. Why is it possible one restaurant is jam packed and another next door empty? It’s not always that the empty one is inferior but people go where the crowds are!

Interaction & connection with Your readers is so important, You gotta admit, people just feel better when You reply back to them.
One of My favorite tips is… What ever makes You feel good, chances are, it makes others feel good too. So do unto others as You would have them do unto You.

Steve
I love your website! did you create this yourself or did you outsource it? Im looking for a blog design thats similar so thats the only reason I’m asking. Either way keep up the nice work I was impressed with your content really..
Did the work myself the theme is flexibility 2 which is free. I like free and thank you.

Fantastic article and you are right on the money! The only way to get your name out there is to begin interacting with people and one of the best ways to do that is on other leaders blogs.
Robert that is true I agree with that. And one way to really encourage response and activity on their own is to make sure to reply their comments. On all the top blogs I visit I notice a few similarities.
1. They all ask for comments.
2. People leave comments.
3. They respond to those comments.
I think that is a big reason they are successful. Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment and have a great day.

Excellent advice Steve.
I can’t understand why someone wouldn’t respond to a comment. Why leave a comment box?
The idea is to engage your readers. Let them know you appreciate them. Everybody wants their voice heard and a happy reader is likely to return.

LOL Ryan yes why even have a comment box never thought about that perspective. They are definitely there for a reason and we aught to encourage people to utilize them by utilizing them ourselves. You are absolutely right it’s just human nature to want to be appreciated and we tend to gravitate toward situations and people where we get it. Thanks for the visit I always appreciate it.

Steve I am always learning something from you. I will be more mindful and make sure to respond back to comments. You are right no one wants to leave a comment and then hear nothing back.
Keysha Bass recently posted..Happy 4th of July- Celebrate your Financial Independence-
Thank you Keysha I appreciate that. And in your saying such a nice thing gave me another idea. I wonder how much insight and knowledge is left unshared because people don’t reply and comment on blogs. There are probably plenty of times someone had an answer that was posed in a blog or an insight that needed to be shared and didn’t because the blog owner didn’t encourage it. Kind of a shame wouldn’t you say? Thank you for your comment and take care.

Hi Steve,
You make four really good points, but I would have to add one on and it will always top my list.
It’s just plain rude. If someone won’t do the courtesy of answering comments on their blog they’re showing that they don’t care about their readers.
The sad part is they’re shooting themselves in the foot by not replying.
Mike
Michael Cole recently posted..Supersize Your Income
Ah I agree Michael I alluded to it but I could have been more plain. Maria Eves in an earlier comment called it a marketers courtesy and I agree 100%. And as I commented then I believe the more people get familiar with social media (and commenting is a type of “social media”) the more they will look for and expect this type of interaction. You make another good point Michael by letting people down by not commenting they are shooting themselves in the foot in more ways than one. Thank you for stopping by and I hope you had a great 4th.

Steve I so agree with commenting. Sometimes we tend to get a wee laxed back. People who comment on others blogs follow a marketers courtesy. Always go back and comment on the other persons blog.
So many benefits to doing this. And you have said it all.
I so enjoyed this post – it really is like a wake up call for some!!

I agree Maria we do sometimes get a little lax at this task. But with the rising importance of social media and it being a marketer’s courtesy (I like that phrase!) it is all to important to remember that it need’s to be done. I think the more familiar people get with social media the more they will look for and expect this type of interaction. Don’t won’t to be abnormal now do we lol? Thanks for your comment as always and take care.

Interesting blog, ta! I finally see the larger picture
LOL well Genna glad to have been of help the larger picture is the world is getting smaller so we have a golden opportunity to become bigger ourselves by interacting and establishing ourselves.

Steve, I like the fact that commenting is developing into real science, there are much more things about commenting than just placing a comment without any knowledge what benefits it produces..
your explanation is fantastic, I absolutely support comment marketing and I always encourage my leads to join Tribes, visit great blogs, learn and make comments, even if they don’t have their own content to show yet.
Great stuff,
Milena
I agree Milena it really is evolving into a science and of course a great branding tool. I think that’s fantastic that you encourage your down line to interact on blogs and tribes this is definitely a practice that will serve them well in the future. Have a great weekend Milena and thank you for the visit.

Steve my man,
That was a great post. I especially like tip #4. I had no idea that commenting could even affect SEO. That is awesome even if it only affects it a little bit. I’ll take what I can get. I learn something everyday from great content like this. Keep up the good work. I’m gonna start really checking my comments section for related keywords. That was great.

Hi Steve,
that is a great post. Even if I already reply to people’s comments on my post ( not always the same day), you brought up some new aspects, for example that it might also affect SEO, at least slightly – in an honest way like you said. Keep the good stuff coming, Steve.
